AI Institutet is organising a full-day summit at KTH Arenan on Friday 11 September, in partnership with the FinTech & Blockchain Research Group at KTH Royal Institute of Technology and FirstBlock, as part of Nordic Tech Week. It runs 09:00 to 17:00 under the title AI & Blockchain: Bridging Research & Real-World Impact, and is expected to bring together 150 founders, investors and partners.

It is the organisation's first physical summit. Founder Hani Raisi Halilovic has run four digital ones before this.

The morning belongs to research: opening remarks from AI Institutet and the KTH research group, then keynotes and panels on AI governance, human agency and academic trust infrastructure.

The afternoon turns to execution — enterprise infrastructure, sovereign cloud and deterministic AI — leading into the FirstBlock-athon Showcase, a live evaluation of the solutions teams have built during Nordic Tech Week. The day ends with an award ceremony and a celebration at Kungsträdgården.
