The programme for FirstBlock-athon is set, and it runs across two locations in Stockholm.

The four days

Building happens on 7 and 8 September at Netlight, Regeringsgatan 25.

Demo Day is 10 September at Kungsträdgården, Jussi Björlings allé.

Awards and Showcase close the week on 11 September, also at Kungsträdgården.

Why the split matters

Two days of building, then two separate occasions to present. Teams get a concentrated run at the problem, then show the result twice — first to the jury, then to a wider audience in a public park in central Stockholm rather than a closed venue.

That second audience is the point. An event that wants attention for what gets built beyond finance has to be visible to people who did not come for a hackathon.

Still filling up

Applications are coming in and partners are still joining. The organisers have signalled more partners, more challenges and more announcements before September.
